Glaucoma is known as the “silent thief of sight” because it can gradually damage your optic nerve without any noticeable symptoms. Left untreated, it leads to permanent vision loss, often starting with your peripheral (side) vision. The good news is that with early detection through a comprehensive eye exam, glaucoma can be managed effectively.

At ClearSight, we offer pressure monitoring, visual field testing, and optic nerve imaging to spot glaucoma in its earliest stages. Treatments include medicated eye drops, laser therapy (SLT), or minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS), all aimed at lowering intraocular pressure and preserving your vision.

Regular screenings are especially crucial if you’re over 40, have a family history of glaucoma, or are at increased risk.
